Jason Trudeau

Financial Planner, Sun Life, CFP®

Originally born in Wawa, Ontario, Jason experienced a diverse upbringing, living in British Columbia and as far north as the Yukon before his family settled in Windsor. He spent most of his life in Belle River and fondly considers it his hometown. Attending eight different grade schools naturally shaped his robust communication skills, enabling him to connect easily with People and help them feel comfortable—an essential quality in the often overwhelming world of financial planning.

Jason is a dedicated financial services professional with a rich background in manufacturing. Before joining Sun Life, he spent over a decade in the tool and mould industry, honing his skills within the engineering department. In 2006, Jason transitioned to the financial services sector, where he has since built a successful career by leveraging his engineering background, exceptional communication and organizational skills.

The untimely loss of his father at a young age profoundly shaped Jason's perspective on the importance of family protection and financial security. This personal experience drives his passion for assisting People in safeguarding their loved ones through careful planning. Whether working with families, business owners, or professionals, Jason prioritizes understanding each Client's unique needs and managing their financial risks and expectations.

Jason lives in Belle River with his wife, Dee and their two children, Ethan and Ella. He enjoys golfing, exercising, boating and fishing. Jason actively supports various charities and community groups, recognizing the vital role these organizations play in helping families during challenging times. Jason's commitment to People and community highlights his belief in the importance of compassion and support.
