Darren here, today, I want to talk directly to the women who shape not just their own lives—but their family’s financial future too.

Did you know that Canadian women currently control $2.2 trillion in financial assets? But here’s the incredible part: by 2028, that number is expected to more than double—to over $4 trillion (CIBC).

That’s a powerful shift. Yet despite this steady rise, many women still feel hesitant when it comes to financial decision-making. Only 34% of women feel comfortable making investment decisions (compared to 49% of men) (Edward Jones). And when it comes to retirement planning, just 52% of women feel confident about retiring at their target age, versus 68% of men (BMO). Many women (32%) admit they avoid financial decisions due to lack of knowledge and only 20% feel confident managing finances on their own (Mintel).

You deserve empowerment. Whether that’s:

  • Having open conversations about your financial goals
  • Ensuring your estate plan reflects your values
  • Or building a legacy with confidence—like focusing on tax-efficient strategies or retirement income planning

The truth is, your financial influence is growing—and you shouldn’t settle for anything less than clarity, control and care in your planning process.
